FromSoftware has revealed the release date for Elder Ring, their Souls-RPG game co-created with Game of Thrones' writer George R. R. Martin. At this point in time, Janurary 21, 2022 is their expected release date on PC, PlayStation 4/5, and Xbox One / Series consoles.
The trailer showcases horse back riding which is new to these types of games. While not an entire lot is known about the overall game outside of general ideas, it looks like it's more of what Demon's/Dark Souls fans expect out of modern FromSoftware titles and includes a co-op mode similar to those games as well.
