Soulcalibur VI is releasing this year and a new challenger awaits. Gerald from the Witcher series is going to be a playable character. He's put down his Gwent cards to slice and dice foes (for a price, of course).
The Soulcalibur series has had some impressive guest stars in the past including Link from the Zelda franchise, Todd McFarlane's Spawn, and Heihachi Mishima from Tekken. It's nice to see them bring in one of the coolest characters in gaming to weld a digital sword.
